Spectators

Via dohlas.se – a single-day ticket costs 100 CZK, or 300 CZK for all World Cup races. On entering the arena you’ll be given a wristband (ticket), which lets you come and go throughout the event, including the evening program.

Registered Czech O-Tour competitors get in free — no ticket needed!

Alongside the World Cup, the GAPP Czech O-Tour spectator races will also take place, with over 2000 competitors. There’s a race in Český Krumlov on 5 August, followed by 4 races on August 6–9 right at the World Cup venue in Martínkov.

Late entries are possible in the public classes (HDR, OPEN-S/M/L and T) via dohlas.se, subject to map availability.

Detailed instructions for the Czech O-Tour races

The race arena is on a meadow in Martínkov – GPS: 48.6008N, 14.2913E (4 km from the campsite in Vyšší Brod). The access road to the arena is one-way and can only be entered from the direction of Studánky (see map)! You can only leave the arena heading toward Vyšší Brod. Competitors may cross the access road, so follow the organizers’ instructions and leave yourself plenty of time to arrive. Cyclists may use the one-way road in both directions.

If you need to drive to the arenas, parking is available within 400 meters of the race arena. The organizational fee is 400 CZK (valid for all race days in Martínkov, including World Cup qualification) or 100 CZK/day. Pay in advance via dohlas.se by entering your license plate, or on-site by scanning the QR code at dohlas.se. Payment will be checked by organizers during the races. Overnight stays in campervans are not allowed.

A shuttle bus to the arena in Martínkov is available from Vyšší Brod. The ticket costs 100 CZK for all races, or 50 CZK for one round trip. Tickets must be booked in advance via dohlas.se, and you’ll need to show the QR code when boarding. The bus stop is by Vyšší Brod klášter railway station and at the race arena. A special ID wristband will serve as the ticket for all stages.

• August 4, 4:45 PM – Opening ceremony, concert (GLOW) and the opening of the new venku.app zone. Main square in Vyšší Brod
• August 6, 8:00 PM – The “Správným směrem” (Right Direction) podcast with P. Kubásek and T. Rauturier, live (reserve a seat). Cinema in Vyšší Brod. Czech only, no translation.
• August 7, 7:00 PM – Prize giving ceremony in the Monastery Gardens in Vyšší Brod with a concert (Mustang Bluesride).
• August 7, 7:30 PM – Meet the Czech national team + autograph signing. Monastery Gardens in Vyšší Brod.
• August 8, 7:00 PM – Prize giving ceremony in the Monastery Gardens in Vyšší Brod with a concert (So Fine).

Can’t make it in person? You can still get a front-row seat — the World Cup will also be broadcast live on TV. Czech Television will air all the finals, and the Czech Orienteering Federation will stream the qualification online for free. Links to the broadcasts can be found in the event programme.
